Don't Try This At Home

Ah, it's nice to be able to put up a new comic this week without having to worry about whether it's going to post properly or not.  Wordpress can be great for running basic websites, but can turn into a real $@#!storm really fast when trying to marry recalcitrant plugins to the various themes on the site.  And seeing as how neither myself nor Jo are masters of the arcane art of HTML coding, we're much happier with our new website.  It accomplishes the single most important goal...getting our comics to you, the reader.  And still manages to do it in style!

So you got a little taste of Alanthia last week, but this week you get to know her much better.  Unfortunately for her, Alanthia's grasp of magic doesn't seem to be much improved.  Practice makes perfect, but it may take her more practice than is humanly possible to get even within the same zipcode as perfection.  For now, she should probably settle on not burning the whole place down...

Well that was fun.  I have taught myself many new things this week that are probably not all that useful and practical for future use, but only time will tell.  If you need to know the HTML script for sharing Facebook, let me know.  As for the comic itself, I like to add bits of dorkiness and fandom where I can sneak them in.  Keep an eye out for little surprises and cameos.  Did you see Brienne in a previous strip?
