We're back, baby!

It feels like forever since we spent time with Judy and Alanthia.  In reality, it's just been slightly over a month, but a lot has been going on in that time.

This last weekend was WonderCon, and we were promoting the webcomic along with Jo's other artistic endeavors.  It was really nice meeting some of our fans, as well as introducing some new readers to Heroines.

Between the craziness of con season and an unexpected death in the family, we just haven't been able to get back to the comic until now.  It sucks that we pulled the plug right in the middle of a new arc, and we apologize for that.  Hopefully you enjoyed the couple of filler strips we put up in the interim, and also hopefully we won't have to take such a long break from the strip again.

So for now, enjoy our latest comic.  If you need to, flip back to the last one to get caught up.  And don't worry, just like we promised back then...it will be revealed what's going on, and why Alanthia and Judy are suddenly kicking ass and taking names.

It was fantastic to meet everyone at Silicon Valley ComicCon and WonderCon!  Shows are super hectic and require a ton of work, but it is always fun to chat with dedicated cosplayers. Anyone who came near my table had to stop and do a Kawaii pose.  The gentleman to the left totally nailed Squall from FF8 and was the most super Kawaii of the lot. There was a quad of lovely ladies I hope will join my cadre of crazies to do my world renown Stitch-and-Bitches.  My S & Bs are an evening of fun where sewing or crafting combines with alcohol and bitching about work.  If you haven’t done something like that, then you are clearly not arting enough!
This weekend is my third weekend in a row working shows, but hopefully I will find some time to produce next week’s comic on time.  Come harass me at “Paint Ventura” where I will feature some of my “fine” art as well as the leatherwork from C & J Goods.  To the right is a sample of the “serious” art I have been known to produce.
