Anger Management, Pt. 4

by Paul Benson | Aug 26, 2015

And thus endeth our glimpse into Judy's anger issues.  There's probably a lot more that would come out were she to go into therapy, but sadly for her, neither Freud nor Jung exist in Thudd.  However, as long as she has a sharp axe, Judy stays happy.

On an entirely unrelated note, today is National Dog Day.  If you're a dog owner, you're probably already thinking, "every day is National Dog Day."  But still...give your dog an extra treat today.  Take him/her to the park.  Toss a ball.  And if you're not a dog owner, go pet someone else's dog!  Just be sure to ask the dog's owner for permission, as sometimes they bite.  And I don't necessarily mean the dogs...

It has been a while since I’ve done sequential art so I am still trying to train myself back into repeatedly drawing the same character from a number of angles.  I know Judy seems to have gained and lost a few pounds between strips, but she doesn't care as she has a great body image.  I’m settling back down into the pattern and I will endeavor to make it so you don’t always have to rely on colors and hairdos to identify characters.    There are, however, a number of things I will apparently never get used to, no matter how many years they have been going on.  This includes (in no particular order):
-My mother hating all of my haircuts since I decided to lop off more than a fair few inches.
-Being reminded that I have a “Professional” membership to the US Fencing Association even though I have been coaching for over 3 years.
-Grocery shopping.
-The lines at the MDR Costco Gas Station.
-My complete inability to go to bed at a reasonable hour (before 1am at the very least).
-Friends being shocked when they realize that yes, I can actually cook a few things (I just am not fond of cooking)
-Being single.
-When I get introduced to people as an artist.

Also f--k the Kardashians. Some jerk gave them a permit to set off a 10 minute fireworks display off the coast of Venice on a school night. It apparently could be heard all the way over in Brentwood. Yet more reasons they are useless irresponsible people.
